Alvaro Fuentes – Architectural Photographer in Melbourne

I’m a Melbourne-based architectural photographer and videographer with a background in Industrial Design. That design foundation shapes the way I see and capture spaces, combining precision with storytelling to create images that feel both authentic and refined.

Alongside architecture and residential work, I also collaborate with architects, developers, and real estate agents to create visuals that elevate both spaces and stories.

Videography

Photography is only part of the story. Through videography, I bring movement and atmosphere into focus, showing how people experience a space, how light shifts across surfaces, and how mood changes throughout the day. My films are designed to immerse viewers, whether for property marketing, brand campaigns, or documentary-style projects.

My Creative Process

My process starts with observation. I take time to notice how light interacts with materials, how spaces flow, and the subtle details that reveal character. From there, I shape the images or films not just as documentation, but as creative work that communicates the identity and feeling of a place.

Projects & Applications

Over the years, I’ve developed a visual style that adapts across residential, commercial, and construction projects. My work is used in websites, marketing campaigns, and publications, helping clients share their vision with clarity and impact.

Beyond the Lens

With a Master’s degree in Marketing and years of experience in digital campaigns, I understand how imagery fits into the bigger picture of brand communication. This perspective allows me to create not only striking visuals, but also content that works seamlessly across digital platforms, publications, and client strategies.

Let’s Work Together

very project begins with a conversation. Whether it’s a home, a building, or a brand, I’d love to help you tell its story through photography and film.
